The photographic series “Connectivity” is part of my work project around communication, whereby I understand communication structures as architected spaces. Communication is a fundamental necessity of every being to express and to manifest connectivity. Next to the meaning and modality of the theme communication, I’m interested in the visual aspects of diverse forms of connectivity and communication structures. The images of the Connectivity series were shot in Busan, South Korea. By blurring the images during the production process, I tried to attribute an etheric sense to the wires to emphasize the energetic quality of our communication modes.

These photographs are part of my research and artwork project commutecture in which I combine text as visual material and communication as architecture.
